In 2015, Jackson Health System shared its vision to expand Jackson’s world-class medical care into some of the county’s fastest-growing residential and commercial communities in west Miami-Dade. With the purchase of a 27-acre property in Doral, we brought our vision to reality – to elevate the standards of care and hold our neighbors close, like family.

Our goal was simple: to build a beautiful, comforting, state-of-the-art environment where patients and their loved ones feel safe and cared for like family and where our caregivers could focus on what matters most – our patients. Our carefully chosen healthcare heroes at Jackson West are dedicated and passionate and bring with them expertise and compassion.

Jackson West will be the catalyst in transforming the way medicine is delivered for generations to come. José Milton Memorial Hospital at Jackson West adds richness and diversity to west Miami-Dade, thanks to a generous donation by the Milton Family Foundation. For the first time, residents in this area have easy access to a hospital that features adult and pediatric emergency rooms, advanced surgical and imaging suites, and 100 private inpatient suites.

We are focused on providing comfort, healing, convenience, accessibility, expertise, and the latest technology to deliver a superior care experience to our patients and their families.

With the opening of our UHealth Jackson Urgent Care on 74th Street and 104th Avenue, and now Jackson West, we are planting roots in this community, building off of Jackson’s longstanding, solid reputation in Miami-Dade County, and expanding our footprint deeper into the community we serve.
