Our Child Life Department includes specialists trained in child development, pediatric psychological and social support, and therapeutic play. They will craft and implement an individual plan for each child.
Special support and services for our pediatric patients may include:
- Music therapy
- Art therapy
- Distraction therapy to reduce the need for sedatives during uncomfortable or painful procedures
- Guided meditations and other coping techniques
- Therapeutic and recreational play
- Coordination of special events, groups and visitors
